Quince Software is the brand of Quince For Software SRL, an independent consultancy in Brașov, Romania. It works in two disciplines: enterprise authorization, for applications and AI agents, and enterprise integration, with SAP S/4HANA, OData and distributed services, on AWS, IBM Cloud, Azure or GCP and on-premises.
The firm has been independent since 2019, after developer years at Vodafone and IBM.
Quince Software contracts through two legal entities: Quince For Software SRL in Romania for work in the European Union, and Quince for Software LLC in the United States for North American engagements.
The founder
Cristian Savin, Founder & Principal Architect
The firm holds the integration engagement at a large retailer, where Cristian Savin leads a six-engineer team: payment and settlement integrations into SAP finance, e-commerce-to-SAP mapping, containerised integration runtimes on Kubernetes and OpenShift, and managed-file-transfer modernisation.
In enterprise authorization, the firm implements policy-as-code decision points on Open Policy Agent, OPAL and AuthZEN. A client implementation is live in production, where 300+ applications and ~50,000 users moved from role-based to attribute-based access control. Separately, the firm offers Caroline, its Authoring-first Authorization Platform, to clients as a deliverable asset of an implementation. In another project, Caroline sits as the authorization layer between the tools that create and manage a business's AI agents and the agents themselves.
